MARRIOTT BEACH RESORT, BENIN

Bringing Marriott Hotels & Resorts branded quality to Cotonou, the proposed 200-room hotel will combine the luxury of a beach resort with the hi-tech facilities of an international business hotel.

The design creates a landscape that seamlessly transitions from contemporary, light interiors to sophisticated exterior spaces with an understated elegance. The landscape not only provides a lush green setting for the hotel but a continuation of the architectural concept, where clean, angular lines generate spaces with panoramic views and a range of opportunities from large scale events to intimate meetings.

Working closely with the architects, this design economically integrates attractive green spaces and resort amenities at every opportunity, including an open air garden room puncturing the central lobby space, a panoramic roof-top lobby lounge and dining terraces. The secure hotel grounds effortlessly combine a sunken events lawn with pristine gardens, scattered with secluded sun decks; a luxurious palm shaded lagoon pool with cabanas, Pool Bar and Grill with a stylish and relaxed sunset lounge with uninterrupted views across the private white-sand beach.
